Ramadan 2021 Appeal

Ramadan Charity Appeal

This Ramadan, once again we are faced with finding new ways to worship during this blessed month with limited taraweeh, jummah or congregations. Many of us are still apart from our families and friends with few iftar gatherings.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

For many around the world, what seems like an unbearable situation for us due to the global pandemic for the last 12 months, has added to the years of suffering with no end in sight. We have a focused Global Ramadan appeal at GRT.

This year we need you to help rebuild lives

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: “The Prophet was the most generous person, and he used to become more so (generous) particularly in the month of Ramadan” [Bukhari].

Giving charity during the month of Ramadan is one of the best deeds we can fulfil, gaining an immense amount of reward. This year, you can provide vulnerable families with much needed aid after experiencing many testing months with limited access to support due to COVID-19 disrupting supply chains.
