Build A Mosque

Build A Mosque for the sake of Allah (swt)

Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise” [Sahih Bukhari]

Contributing towards building a mosque is a sacred act in itself. Mosques have high importance in Islam and is the heart of the local community. With many people benefiting from the daily worship facilities, educational programmes and special occasion services, there is much more to a mosque than congregational prayers. A mosque can act as a hub for the local community, teaching people about Islam and supporting their spiritual growth.

Building a mosque can also be an act of Sadaqah Jariyah for you or your loved ones. Your donation can earn continuous reward as it is providing an essential pillar of the Islamic community for generations to come.

When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

Where can I build a mosque?

At Global Relief Trust we believe in empowering Muslim communities around the world, particualry our focus is in remote areas in countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria and Burundi.

Impoverished, isolated communities in these areas are in desperate need of easy access to worship facilities. Unfortunately many people are unable to access nearby mosques and therefore miss out on essential services which can bring a community together by providing fundamental religious facilities, gatherings and events.

With your generous donation, however much it may be, we can provide this basic need for our brothers and sisters around the world. Something that we may take for granted, is a luxury for others in a remote community with no access to essential prayer facilities.
